For the last several weeks, I’ve really appreciated the song “Blessed Assurance” by Fanny Crosby. I see the words of her song and am blown away that someone who was blind could write such a vivid expression of the hope that she received in her Father!
I wanted to do something with her song in one of my songs but felt her version was too good to overlook.
As a result, I’m sharing two songs! One with her original lyrics and another one based on 2 Corinthians 11:3.
But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. – 2 Corithians 11:3
